This place has the best Crab Cake in Cecil county bar none! The employees are friendly and the owners are very personable to, heck if you didn’t know them you’d think they were just regular employees! The restaurant/Pub is also motorcycle friendly! There’s also lots to do from pool tables to arcade games to horse shoes/corn hole. Food and fun for everyone!

I passed this establishment on the way to a soccer game with my wife. I read the reviews about the great food and bartender, Lori. We stopped after the game and Lori was great. I had the half pound crab cake which was incredible. My wife had the 3/4 pound burger which was perfectly cooked and delicious with the boardwalk fries. The patrons were all friendly. The beer was very cold. It basically is bar seating but bar stools are comfortable and I highly recommend the crab cake and burger.
The food here is so underrated... and the drinks are made just right.. not cheap & weak but strong but not too strong. I love it here. The bartender Lisa is a sweetheart. It’s always nice to have a bartender that doesn’t forget about you or socialize with customers to the point where you can’t order anything and feel like you’re a bother. prices are definitely reasonable as well. Pool, cornhole, and jukebox for music along with live music and karaoke. The burgers here are the best burgers I’ve ever had.. along with the shrimp.. LARGE shrimp. I LOVE SWEENEYS !!!!!

Amazing food, great drinks, nice pool tables, amazing bartenders. This place is the perfect hang out on weekends & weekdays and Lisa, the bartender is the sweetest and most caring person! I always enjoy coming to Sweeney’s when she’s working.

My wife and I frequent it. We have met many fine people over the years. The owner has a heart of gold, seafood is great, with great flavor..I play pool and my wife enjoys the jukebox...the owner has it loud enough to hear, other bars don't!
